Our compassionate nurses are trained in palliative care. But more than that, they are called to this work. Not every nurse can or wants to be a part of the end of life. The nurses at Nurses & Company take the time to work with the family, explain the progression of the disease, teach caregivers proper procedures for pain management, personal care and comfort measures.
Skilled nursing visits are scheduled as needed. Perhaps at the beginning of care once a week check ins are all that are needed. Near the end of life or in times of crisis visits could be daily. Each person is different therefore the care they receive is personalized to their needs not by a formula or a standard or practice.
