New on call after hours staffing specialist
We are so thrilled to have Mary join our Private Services Team! She will be handling some of the after hours on call duties, so if you have an opportunity to speak with her, please welcome her to the Nurses & Company family!
important policy updates
The Nurses & Company Private Services Personnel Policies are always available for reference on this portal! But we want to make you aware of a few recent changes to our Employee Rewards Policy and our Time & Activity Policy.
Here are the highlights:
Employee Rewards policy
- Beginning July 2, 2017, in lieu of the gas cards, every time an employee works the equivalent of a full time position, 2080 hours, the employee will be evaluated for a pay rate increase.
In other reward news, we are still practicing "$5 Fridays!" On random Fridays, we will give out $5 to each Private Services employee “caught” wearing their name badge in the office! It will be a surprise….you’ll never know when $5 Friday will roll around!
Don’t forget about the Employee Referral Bonus! You will receive $25 once a person you refer works 80 hours. Please recommend your friends with caregiving experience!
Time & Activity (Telephony)
- Each time telephony is not used to clock in or out of a shift, or if tasks are not entered, it is considered a telephony incident. If the employee reaches 3 telephony incidents in a calendar month, then the shift associated with the 3rd incident will reduce the employee’s pay rate to 77.0% of the employee’s usual hourly rate. Any additional telephony incidents in that calendar month period will reduce the employee’s pay rate to 77.0% of the employee’s usual hourly rate. The reduction in pay for not using telephony may occur in addition to other disciplinary action up to and including termination. (Each month the employees start with a clean slate.)
