Terms of Use
Agreement
By using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. These terms cover the website only. Care itself is governed by the separate service agreement you sign before care begins.
No medical advice
Everything on this site is general information, not medical advice. Nothing here creates a clinician–patient relationship, and nothing here should be used to diagnose or treat a condition or to decide whether someone needs a particular level of care. Talk to a physician about medical decisions. In an emergency, call 911.
What we provide
Nurses & Company provides non-medical home care and private-duty nursing — help with daily living, personal care, companionship, and, through our licensed nurses, medication setup and management. We do not provide services that require a physician’s order, such as wound care or injections, and we are not a Medicare-certified home health agency. We do not accept Medicare or Medicaid.
Rates and quotes
Rates shown on this site are estimates generated from the schedule you select and from published metro-level wage data. They are for planning. Your final rate is confirmed by a Care Manager after we understand the care needed, and it may differ. Wage percentiles come from the Bureau of Labor Statistics Occupational Employment and Wage Statistics program, accessed through CareerOneStop (U.S. Department of Labor); they are metro-level figures, not ZIP-level, and they change when BLS publishes new data.
The seven-day rate hold
When you reserve a rate we hold that hourly rate for seven calendar days. A rate hold:
- Does mean we will honor that hourly rate if you start care within seven days, for the caregiver level and schedule you selected.
- Does not reserve a specific caregiver, guarantee availability or a start date, obligate you to anything, or require payment.
- Does not survive a material change to the care needed or the schedule. If what you need changes, we will re-quote.
Either of us may end a rate hold at any time. Nothing is due during the hold.
Minimums and adjustments
Care is subject to a 12-hour weekly minimum. Visits shorter than four hours and overnight visits carry the rate adjustments shown on the rate page, because travel and scheduling overhead is fixed and those visits are harder to staff.
Your submissions
Give us accurate information, and only submit someone else’s information if you are authorized to do so. Do not use this site to send protected health information; use the phone number above instead. We may decline or discontinue service consistent with our policies and applicable law.

Disclaimers and limits
The site is provided “as is.” We work to keep it accurate but do not warrant that it is error-free or always available. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the site. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for personal injury caused by negligence.
