How respite care works

From a few hours to a few weeks — care that flexes around your life.

A few hours or a few weeks

Whether you need an afternoon to yourself, coverage while you travel, or regular weekly breaks, we flex around your schedule. Respite is on your terms.

A seamless handoff

We take time to learn your loved one’s routines, preferences, and quirks — so care continues smoothly the moment you step away, without disruption.

Everyday support

Meals, personal care, companionship, medication reminders, and a watchful, caring presence — everything you’d do, handled while you’re away.

Consistent caregivers

The same trusted faces where possible, so your loved one is comfortable and you have peace of mind about who’s in your home.

Care Manager oversight

A dedicated Care Manager coordinates the plan and stays reachable — so even your time off is fully covered.

Updates while you’re away

A quick check-in so you can actually relax, knowing how things are going without having to ask.

Common questions

Questions families ask us first

How short or long can respite care be?

Both. Some families use a few hours a week; others need full coverage for a vacation or recovery period of several weeks. We build the schedule around what you need.

Is respite care medical?

No. We provide non-medical, private-duty support — companionship, personal care, meals, supervision, and help around the home. We’re not a medical or skilled-nursing provider.

Will it be the same caregiver each time?

Wherever possible, yes. Consistency helps your loved one feel comfortable and gives you confidence about who’s in your home. Our scheduling protects that continuity.
